Fun family night activity: Apple taste test! We bought 1 of every kind of organic apple Whole Foods carried. Then we took turns being blindfolded and guessing the variety, or at least the color, of the apple.
Most cuts really don’t need a bandaid. In fact, bandaids can sometimes even slow down healing! We reserve bandaids only for those occasions when either the cut is in a location which is difficult to keep clean (think, the bottom of a foot), or for a cut so deep that a bandaid will help keep the cut closed long enough for a scab to start to form. And for those occasions, use a compostable bandaid!
I found this in our compost bin, which we share with people in Chattanooga who are not able to compost where they live. It’s a box from the @packagefreeshop , so fun to know another Chattanoogan has made some more zero waste swaps, and then chose to compost the shipping box!
Who Gives A Crap Valentine’s Day cards!
